Well, exactly what is the problem with having AdBlue in a diesel tank? Because the product is predominantly ionised water, it is like putting water in to your tank. Diesel and water really do not mix in the least and trying to run a diesel car on water isn't going to work. Apart from this, the urea is highly corrosive to the fuel system lines and seals and is at risk of crystalising, obstructing injectors and fuel filters.

Water contaminated fuel

Water contaminated fuel, whether it is unleaded or diesel, is without question a serious situation to handle in a motor vehicle - especially in modern common-rail engines. Water in the petrol or diesel will often cause idling difficulties, irregular running, excessive smoke and, if it is not remedied correctly, quite possibly blown injectors. Water in petrol is less complicated to drain compared to water in diesel - primarily due to the fact that diesel is an oil. Having said that we are able to resolve both situations fairly easily.
